posted on May 3rd, 2017

Camden racing cyclocross, the sport that combines running and riding and handling skills in one all-out hour of power.

We are excited to welcome our newest Skilled Volunteer, Camden Black Ingersoll, to the Lift360 team!

Camden Black Ingersoll grew up in the “Live free or Die” state, and he recently moved to Portland, ME. He graduated from Bates College in 2016, where he studied political philosophy and physics, and ran on the cross country and track teams. Camden developed an interest in the process of social change in his studies, and in his senior thesis offered an alternative theory to explain why social movements pursue change via litigation strategies despite the potential for devastating backlash. Camden is also a cyclist and member of the Downeast racing team. He dreams of taking his cycling passion as far as it can go.

Camden is bringing his writing skills and his interest in learning about the nonprofit sector to his volunteering role where he is helping to collect Lift360 alumni testimonials and stories through interviews and articles. Look out for his work on our blog and Facebook page!
